About Teabag Filters
Sustainability
From the viewpoint of environmental problems, there had been many needs in the market for Eco friendly biodegradable tea bags.
In order to respond to the changing needs from petroleum-based materials(Nylon, PET, etc.) to plant-based materials as a sustainable resource, we have continued to provide a stable supply of PLA-based tea bag filters for over a decade as the largest PLA filter supplier in the world.
On the other hand, GMO products have been shunned due to growing demand for organic products in the market.
For this reason, for more than the past 10 years, the raw materials of the tea bag filters for packaging have been sought out to be 100% Non-GMO.
Therefore, we have commercialized a mesh filter for tea bags made from Non-GMO sugar cane, established the world’s largest stable supply system, and at long last officially started sales of the filter as NeoSoilon® in January 2020.
